Brian & Margaret Westlake – Founders
Brian and Margaret first entered the care industry 20 years ago with a vision to provide care for older people, based on compassion and respect. Since then, underpinned by their passionate focus on providing truly remarkable care services, the business has continued to grow and flourish. Brian is a former Chairman of the Dorset Care Association and both he and Margaret are actively committed to raising standards within the care sector and to ensure the best quality of life for everyone in care.
Margaret is a keen horsewoman and shares with Brian a love of the Dorset countryside. Earlier this year Brian and Margaret celebrated the birth of their latest grandchild, Magnus.
Steve Knell - Head Of Management Accounting
Steve is the son of the Founders and has been involved with Altogether Care from an early age. He has fulfilled a number of key roles in the Company before being admitted as a Member.
Most of Steve’s time at Altogether Care is spent behind his computer ‘number crunching’ alongside his wife Terri - who keeps him in order. When not at work Steve and Terri love spending quality time with their two boys Reece and Eddie. When he gets time to himself Steve enjoys getting away from it all a few thousand feet up after becoming a qualified helicopter pilot in 2005.
Caroline Sharp - Manager Sherborne House
Caroline qualified as a registered Nurse in 1987 and has worked in Nursing Homes in Somerset for the past 18 years. Caroline is an N.V.Q assessor and completed her Registered Managers Award in 2005.
Caroline was appointed to her current role as Home Manager at Sherborne House in September 2007

Edwin Inayat – Manager Cheverels Care Home
Edwin joined Cheverels Care Home in April 2006 as a Registered Nurse and was promoted to Head of Care in October 2006 due to his excellent performance and contribution to the home. During his role as The Head Of Care, Edwin successfully completed his Registered Managers Award (NVQ 4) and was appointed Manager of Cheverels Care Home in August 2007.
